Job summary

Littleton Public Schools seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional, Transition Services, to support students with diverse needs in school and community settings. You will help implement IEP goals, assist with daily living skills, and promote positive behavior under licensed staff supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and experience with youth with disabilities, plus CPR/First Aid and CPI training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with youth with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing educational, vocational and recreational programs for students with disabilities.
• Promote positive behavior, social skills and independence.
• Support students with functional daily living skills, personal care and health needs.
• Assist students in community-based activities to foster access to public transportation and real-world skills.
