Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications within 3 months of hire.
• Crisis prevention training within first year of employment.
• Medication administration training may be required depending on student needs.
• Additional training may be required based on program needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group instruction and strategies to students receiving special education support under licensed staff supervision.
• Monitor and support students during school activities; collect data for IEP goals and behavior plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and adapt to changes in responsibilities and schedules.
• Assist with personal care, feeding, safety and supervision as needed.
