Addison Group is partnering with a Maryland-based transportation client to establish a comprehensive training function. The role focuses on developing systems, tracking regulatory certifications, and coordinating internal and vendor training for safety and performance.

The specialist will collaborate with HR and Operations leadership, drive continuous improvements, and ensure audit-ready records while delivering on a growing workforce strategy on-site in Maryland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in transportation/regulated operations or similar.
• Experience building/enhancing training programs and workforce initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of compliance-driven training environments and performance improvement.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term training and workforce development strategies for operations, safety, compliance, and succession.
• Create and maintain standardized training programs for staff across functions.
• Coordinate internal and vendor-led training with regulatory alignment.
