Job summary

A leading transportation company in Landover is seeking a Safety & Training Manager to ensure safety compliance and develop training programs for transportation personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising drivers and a strong knowledge of safety regulations. This role includes responsibilities such as leading training initiatives, managing driver evaluations, and complying with DOT/OSHA regulations, as well as offering exceptional benefits including a competitive salary and healthcare coverage.

Qualifications

• 3 years as a Trainer in transportation industry desired.
• Must complete company certification program.
• Equivalent work experience as a Trainer can be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design, develop and implement training programs.
• Supervise driver trainers and establish performance objectives.
• Provide classroom instruction and behind the wheel training.
