Job summary

Ramos Consulting Services, now part of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a Project Engineer for Transit Systems in Seattle, WA. You will oversee TPSS construction, ensure compliance with design and safety standards, and document progress and changes on the contract.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical or Civil Engineering with PE preferred; 7+ years in field/construction for transit projects, and strong English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• PE registration preferred; EIT acceptable; WA PE preferred.
• 7+ years field/construction experience on traction power/TPSS.
• Experience as Project/Field/Commissioning Engineer on transit or rail.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight of TPSS construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Review contractor work for plans, specs, and TPSS integration.
• Witness and document equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Prepare daily reports on progress, inspections, and acceptance.
• Assist in contract change orders and budget control.
• Coordinate with signals, track, and operations disciplines.
