Job summary

Ramos CS, now part of Colliers Engineering & Design, is hiring an Assistant Resident Engineer for a transit capital program in the Seattle area. You will support the Resident Engineer in contract administration, review work for compliance, monitor progress, and help with payments and documentation in field or office settings.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, EIT/CCM/PE credentials, and 5+ years in transit/rail construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or accredited program.
• EIT certification, CCM, or PE license required; WA PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safety oversight of Authority, State, and contractor employees.
• Review contractor operations for compliance with plans, specs, and safety rules.
• Prepare and maintain contract records, progress, and budget documentation.
• Assist in preparing contract change orders and resolving disputes.
• Coordinate with transit operations to minimize impact on service.
• Record daily diary of activities and communications; monitor schedule and costs.
