Job summary

Ramos Consulting Services, now a part of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking an Office Engineer to support a transit capital program covering rail and bus construction scopes in Seattle, WA. You will assist the Resident Engineer with contract administration, documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background, 3+ years in related roles, and familiarity with CMIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Engineering Internship/Certification preferred (EIT or CCM).
• 3+ years in construction management, contract administration, or office engineering on transit/rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Administers project document control system with complete, accurate contract records.
• Manages submittal log and RFIs with coordination across design/engineering teams.
• Prepares progress payment estimates; verifies quantities, retainage, and change orders.
• Supports Resident Engineer in contract change order preparation and negotiations.
• Maintains change order logs and schedules, reporting status to leadership.
• Compiles inspector daily reports and project records for closeout.
