Job summary

Transdev in Quincy, MA is seeking a Service Planner to maintain and adjust run-cut schedules to align with forecasted demand, resources, and MBTA expectations. This role sits at the core of day-to-day service planning and provides the operational glue between dispatch, service providers, and MBTA.

The Service Planner will monitor daily run-cuts, track service hours, collaborate with DSPs, and publish adjusted schedules around holidays or events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years reservationist or customer service experience preferred.
• Computer literate; proficient with basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily run-cuts to reflect service changes and driver availability.
• Monitor planned vs. delivered service hours and report variances.
• Identify and alert gaps in coverage to MBTA and DSPs.
• Publish adjusted schedules around holidays or events.
• Coordinate with DSPs to align schedules with run-cut requirements.
• Support PTO and peak-period coverage with internal scheduling.
