Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Inspector in Los Angeles to support rail, highway, and transit projects under LACMTA. You will perform field inspections, verify plans and codes, and contribute to project quality and safety.

The role requires 5 years of field experience on heavy construction, a high school diploma or higher, and proficiency with MS Office. You will work in a team, coordinate with engineers, and help maintain daily reports and inspection records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of field experience on heavy construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Visits construction sites and inspects each stage of construction to verify conformance.
• Prepare non-conformance reports when work does not meet specs.
• Maintain daily activity logs and daily inspection reports with project photos.
• Review submitted shop drawings for deviations from contract documents.
• Assist in monitoring contractor testing activities and reporting.
