DART is seeking a supervisor to manage transit operators, ensuring safe and efficient bus service. You will mentor operators, enforce rules, and monitor routes to meet on-time performance goals.

Responsibilities include communicating with Directors, handling passenger relations, and coordinating service adjustments during detours or events. Strong safety focus and CDL requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a relevant field as listed.
• Five years of professional experience in transit/related field with customer service focus.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with Passenger and Air Brake; CDL to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• DOT medical examination and random drug testing required.
• Proficiency with PC and software; Transit Works, Trapeze, Transit Master, Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise operator performance and enforce rules, policies and safety requirements.
• Develop routes for detours and extraordinary events; monitor on-time performance.
• Inform Directors/Managers of personnel, vehicle, and system issues promptly.
• Direct bus services along designated routes/service territories.
• Assist operators with passenger relations and handle customer complaints and information.
• Perform administrative duties and prepare incident/service reports.
