Martz Bus in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking an experienced Operations Dispatcher/Driver Supervisor to coordinate daily motor coach operations. You will build the daily operating board, assign drivers and vehicles, monitor service, and respond to call-offs, schedule changes, and disruptions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in transportation operations, dispatch, or supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decide when priorities change.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn scheduling, dispatch, GPS, and other systems.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assign drivers and available vehicles to trips.
• Monitor driver times and secure coverage for call-offs/no-shows.
• Review next-day driver, vehicle, and trip readiness.
• Coordinate schedule changes, breakdowns, and service disruptions.
• Support driver attendance, reliability, and performance expectations.
• Communicate trip changes and updated work info to drivers.
• Review driver time and payroll accuracy.
• Prepare daily operational reports and vehicle-cleaning schedules.
• Assist with accident, incident, and customer-service response.
• Maintain clear communication and handoffs between shifts and departments.
