Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of related field experience.
• Knowledge of radio and telephone etiquette.
• Ability to use computer and Mountain Transit systems.
• Understanding California regulations for commercial drivers.
• Must possess a California driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to radio transmissions.
• Answer incoming calls to dispatch office.
• Schedule, coordinate, and log Dial-A-Ride requests.
• Log all caller feedback.
• Coordinate responses to driver emergencies.
• Arrange substitute drivers as needed.
• Complete shift reports for incidents.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Follow Mountain Transit policies and procedures.
