Job summary

Qualifications

• One year dispatcher experience preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Trapeze software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service commitment and professional phone manner.
• Knowledge of the service area is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Takes client calls and communicates issues with drivers and supervisors.
• Monitors radio, telephones and on-road service quality.
• Influences positive employee morale and service quality.
• Monitors and completes driver sign-in/sign-out daily.
• May assign trips to drivers to ensure adequate distribution.
• Monitors daily system performance and analyzes operating results.
• Notes late or early routes and informs supervisors.
• All other duties as assigned.
