Job summary

Sound Transit is seeking a professional to assist managers in planning, design, and construction of capital projects. You will coordinate resources, manage documents, and facilitate information exchange among staff, consultants, and public stakeholders across all project phases.

Responsibilities include supporting feasibility studies, site selection, permitting, and contract administration, while ensuring compliance with laws and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Four years of project management support experience in planning, engineering, or construction.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and coordinates project-related documentation and materials; manages specific tasks as directed.
• Supports project development, verifies submittals, monitors schedules, and participates in feasibility studies and design development.
• Supports signage and wayfinding design, permitting, and coordination with departments and agencies.
• Assists with final design phase tasks, design development reviews, and coordination with partner agencies and operations groups.
• Supports construction phase activities including bid processes, contract negotiations, and project closeouts.
• Maintains communications with agencies, consultants, and the public; prepares meeting materials and status reports.
• Drafts budgets, forecasts, and project reports; monitors expenditures and internal approvals.
