Job summary

Sound Transit in Seattle is seeking a qualified project-management professional to support capital project planning, design, and construction phases. You will coordinate resources, facilitate communications among staff, consultants, and the public, and help ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Four years of project management support experience for planning, engineering, or construction including scope, schedule, and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate project documentation and materials; manage specific tasks.
• Support project development, verify submittals, monitor schedules, and provide Resident Engineer services for small projects.
• Assist in managing signage, permitting, coordination with ST departments and other agencies.
• Support during final design and construction phases of larger projects.
• Coordinate with agencies, elected officials, consultants, and the public; prepare meeting materials and summaries.
• Draft and review budgets, forecasts, and schedules; prepare project reports.
