Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-disciplinary integration of BIM models for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate architecture, structures, roadway design, and MEP within federated, clash-checked deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes standards enforcement, mentorship of junior designers, and coordination with clients and agencies to ensure model deliverables meet DOT criteria and project requirements.

Qualifications

• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational CADD training for intelligent modeling.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination on transit and multimodal projects to deliver a single federated model.
• Run clash detection and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Support model health, versioning, and interoperability across Autodesk tools.
