Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP, running clash detection and ensuring federated, deliverable-ready outputs.

You will establish BIM standards, mentor staff, and interface with clients and agencies to define model deliverable requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 12 years of related experience (engineering/CADD/BIM) required.
• Domestic or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor and guide production staff across offices to build capability.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverables and data handoff.
