Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline BIM work on transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP, run clash detection, and ensure model health.

You will establish standards, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients and agencies to deliver federated, clash-checked models that meet project requirements and design criteria.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational CADD training.
• 12 years of related experience in modeling and design coordination.
• Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
• Experience with transit/multimodal projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, structures, roadways, and MEP.
• Run clash detection and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Develop and enforce BIM/CADD standards and templates.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches.
• Act as Intelligent Modeling Coordinator through project lifecycle.
• Crosscheck drawings for consistency and QC adherence.
• Provide CADD/technical support and manage model health.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on deliverables.
