Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Clinical Lab Technician or related field.
• MLT certification within 1 year (ASCP BOC or AMT).
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests within protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports findings.
• Maintains calibration and quality control of instruments.
• Assists in transfusion, chemistry, hematology and related testing areas.
• Provides support to Phlebotomists and department staff.
• Ensures compliance with accrediting standards and safety procedures.
