Job summary

CareRing Health, LLC is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide professional OT services in clients’ homes in Virginia, coordinating with the care team and physician to develop and implement plans of care.

You will assess, treat, educate, and document client progress, supervise OTAs and HH Aides, and participate in case conferences and discharge planning within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Virginia (or eligible)
• CPR certification
• Excellent communication, organizational and human relations skills
• Ability to function with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
• Ability to instruct clients and caregivers in home health OT programs

Responsibilities

• Assess clients using age-appropriate norms and growth/development principles.
• Formulate care plans with client, supervisor, and physician approval.
• Provide home-based occupational therapy per physician prescription and evaluate function.
• Supervise and evaluate OTAs and HH Aides.
• Document assessments, interventions, and client responses per policy and regulations.
• Educate clients and caregivers to enhance self-care abilities.
• Discharge planning and case conferences participation.
