Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment. Duties include direct client care, data collection, and caregiver training in a 1:1 and group setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 18 years or older, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. CPR/First Aid and TB testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Willing to participate in background check if offered
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Reliable transportation with valid license/insurance
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test if not in past year
• Physically capable to perform job tasks (lift up to 50 lbs, floor work)
• Professional presentation and conduct required
• Patience and ability to guide clients during therapy sessions

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy in client settings
• Follow treatment plans created by BCBA/BC
• Collect and summarize data on client behavior
• Assist with parent/caregiver training
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting
• Communicate progress with families as directed
• Maintain safe, clean therapy environment
• Assist in preparation of materials and assessments
