Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking a Center-Based Child Autism Specialist to provide ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. A valid RBT certification is required, or the candidate must complete a 40-hour course and pass the competency exam within 45 days of hire.

Duties focus on 1:1 and group therapy to build language, social, and school readiness skills. The role emphasizes data collection, parent training, and strict adherence to treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or be willing to complete 40 hour training and pass exam within 45 days of employment.
• Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation and provide proof of license/insurance where applicable.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test if not current.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy sessions.
• Follow guidance in client’s treatment plan created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure timely and compliant documentation.
