Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Transfer Station to supervise operations within a segment of a transfer station. You will oversee dispatchers, clerks, drivers and helpers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer experience while supporting budget goals.

The role partners with the Operations Manager and General Manager to drive tactical initiatives. You will lead safety programs, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Participation in the Company’s management trainee program.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business related field.
• Experience in labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise dispatchers, clerks, drivers and helpers to maximize productivity while complying with safety regulations.
• Drive safety, customer experience and efficiency initiatives across the transfer station operations.
• Manage labor hours and disposal expenses in line with plans and budgets.
• Foster employee engagement and development, coaching staff for advancement.
