Job summary

Burrtec-Waste-Industries in Southern California seeks a Transfer Station Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the transfer station and Bio-Separator workflow, ensuring the safe and efficient receipt and transfer of waste.

You will lead a team of Equipment Operators, Spotters, and Load Inspectors, enforce SOPs, monitor safety compliance, and coordinate with contractors to meet deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Leadership and staff management experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
• Knowledge of transfer station operations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily transfer station operations and supervise staff.
• Coordinate receipt of refuse and loading of transfer trailers.
• Ensure safety compliance and OSHA/regulatory adherence.
• Lead Equipment Operators, Spotters, and Load Inspectors; enforce SOPs.
• Monitor performance, safety metrics, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure timely, compliant operations.
