Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Transfer Station to oversee dispatchers, drivers and clerks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer experience. You will work with the Operations Manager and General Manager to implement initiatives that meet safety standards and budget targets.

The role emphasizes leadership, team engagement, and delivery of operational plans to support division goals and regulatory compliance within a transfer station setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Participation in the Company’s management trainee program.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business related field.
• Experience in labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Understand and provide leadership to achieve safety goals and remove unsafe conditions.
• Customer Experience: Provide service that meets or exceeds customer expectations and resolve issues.
• Efficiency: Establish productivity goals, manage labor hours and disposal expenses, lead drivers to exceed productivity.
• Employee Engagement: Create a collaborative environment, develop talent, coach for advancement.
