Job summary

Truck Country is seeking a Transfer Driver to pick up and deliver tractors and trailers for the dealership, based in Indianapolis, IN. You will follow safety policies, represent the dealership professionally, and coordinate with shuttle teams to ensure timely transportation.

Requirements include a valid driver's license and Class A CDL preferred; working knowledge of Outlook and Excel is helpful. This is a Monday–Friday day-shift role with mileage reimbursement and a strong benefits package.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and efficiency in execution.

Responsibilities

• Safety transport dealership inventory and customer owned equipment as direct
• Take direction from various individuals
• Represent the dealership in an effective and positive manner both with customers and suppliers
• Follow dealership safety and operational policy
• Correctly account and invoice time to cover a minimum of110% time on the job
• Proactively determine what vehicles need to be prepared for the driver shuttle team
• Work with shuttle team when problems develop with vehicles being transported
• Check in and inspect Freightliner Corp trades and inventory for pick up
• Alert manager when lot process is not being followed and proactively correct

Shift: Monday – Friday: 7 AM to 330 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safety transport dealership inventory and customer owned equipment as direct
• Take direction from various individuals
• Represent the dealership in an effective and positive manner both with customers and suppliers
• Follow dealership safety and operational policy
• Correctly account and invoice time to cover a minimum of110% time on the job
