Job summary

Truck Country® / Stoops Freightliner-Western Star is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver in Michigan. You will provide exceptional customer service by delivering parts promptly to customers, handling credits and returns with the Parts Counter, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Responsibilities include loading, operating a lift truck and pallet jack, performing pre-trip inspections, and delivering to up to 25 stops in an 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to troubleshoot the flow of traffic and road conditions.
• Ability to adhere to established safe driving guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Dependable and reliable attendance required.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.

• Pull daily delivery orders from inventory at branch and load delivery truck.
• Perform manual material handling of parts for delivery to/from branches and customer sites.
• Operate lift truck and pallet jack.
• Perform pre trip truck inspections and fuel vehicles.
• Drive delivery van or parts vehicle during 8 hour shift with up to 25 stops.
• Complete paperwork with bills of ladings and mail.
• Coordinate with Parts Counter for credits and returns.
• Transport parts from vehicle to customer locations as requested.

Job description

The Parts Delivery Driver will provide exceptional customer service through the prompt and efficient delivery of parts to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pull daily delivery order from inventory at branch, loads delivery truck
• Performs manual material handling of parts for delivery to/from branches and customer sites
• Operates industrial lift truck and pallet jack
• Performs all pre trip truck inspections, fuels vehicles
• Drives delivery van or parts vehicle throughout 8 hour shift up to 25 stops
• Do paperwork with bill of ladings and put mail together.
• Work with Parts Counter person to handle credits and returns.
• When delivering parts to customers, be able to transport the part from vehicle to requested customer location in building.
• Push or pull pallet jack to move parts to the requested location in customer’s building.
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
