Phoenix Children's is seeking a Transfer Center RN to be the frontline resource for families and providers seeking information about hospital services. This role requires an active RN license and 2–3 years of ER experience, and involves coordinating complex admissions and directing patients to appropriate resources.

Formación

• RN license required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Ability to handle high-acuity calls with clinical judgment.
• PRN availability as required.

Responsabilidades

• Manages transfer requests and direct admissions, coordinating provider communication.
• Collects intake data from ED, physician offices, and clinics.
• Coordinates MD-to-MD acceptance calls and documents outcomes.
• Collaborates with Patient Placement and other departments to ensure admissions and bed capacity.
• Prioritizes patient information and flow using clinical judgment.
