Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• RN license required.
• PRN/as-needed role.
• Experience coordinating patient transfers recommended.

Responsibilities

• Manages transfer requests and direct admissions, coordinating with providers.
• Accurately collects intake data from ED, physician offices, and Phoenix Children’s clinics.
• Coordinates MD-to-MD acceptance calls and documents outcomes.
• Collaborates with Patient Placement and other departments to ensure bed availability and patient flow.
• Triages and prioritizes patient information and acuity to support throughput.
