Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. in the United States seeks an Associate, Transaction Management – SCIB Lending to oversee complex Leveraged Finance and Structured Finance transactions from approval to closing, booking, funding, and lifecycle handoff.

You will coordinate across Advisory, Legal, Credit, and Front Office to ensure documentation and controls are in place. The role emphasizes attention to detail, timely execution, and cross-functional collaboration to support a robust lending solutions

Qualifications

• Strong transaction execution, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and understanding of control requirements.
• Ability to manage execution activities across multiple complex closings and amendments under time pressure.
• Strong understanding of Lev Fin and Structured Finance structures, credit agreements, funds flows, allocations, and agency processes.
• Experience with Loan IQ or comparable loan booking / servicing platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of complex Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, syndicated, bilateral, club, participant, left lead, and amendment transactions from pre-approval through close.
• Coordinate closing checklists, conditions precedent, documentation status, approval evidence, funds flow, allocations, operational setup, and stakeholder readiness.
• Monitor for material changes to approved terms and elevate them for review and re-approval where required before signing, closing, booking, or funding.
• Partner with Advisory, Legal and Front Office during documentation negotiation to help identifying operational, control, booking, agency, collateral, covenant, and funding implications.
