Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an Analyst to join our Transaction Advisory Services practice in Irvine. You will provide due diligence and transaction advisory services to clients to meet their complex financial needs in a multi-faceted client base.

You will work with privately held and publicly traded companies, private equity funds, banks and other financial institutions, gaining exposure to buy- and sell-side engagements while developing technical and communication skills in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Audit or Transaction Advisory experience preferred.
• CPA designation or candidacy and/or advanced degree are a plus.
• High motivation, initiative and positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present analyses to management and lead initiatives.
• Ability to interact with senior client personnel across industries.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Partners on client matters and engagement management.
• Data gathering, document review, and preparation of quality of earnings reports.
• Research and financial analysis of target companies.
• Due diligence for buy-side, sell-side, and corporate finance deals.
• Communicate findings to clients to ensure delivery of excellent service.
• Opportunities for career development within the transaction advisory group.
