Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking an Associate Manager, Training to drive site-wide learning programs at our Ohio manufacturing site. You will design and implement training across technical, safety, leadership, and operations areas, while partnering with site leadership and the Supply Chain COE to develop capability and compliance.

You will lead onboarding, coach hourly staff, manage the training budget, and ensure records and metrics drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Admin, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in training/L&D in manufacturing/operations.
• Experience designing and delivering training using instructional design and adult learning methods.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience developing training content across multiple formats.
• Proficient with LMS systems (Alchemy/Red Zone) and e-learning tools.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, compliance requirements in manufacturing.
• Analytical, data-driven decision making; cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience coaching or leading employees to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs with department leaders and stakeholders.
• Lead onboarding and orientation for hourly and salaried employees.
• Design, develop, and implement training programs (technical, safety, leadership, operations).
• Create training materials: presentations, guides, manuals, videos, e-learning modules.
• Facilitate training sessions using adult-learning principles.
• Collaborate with external providers to enhance offerings when appropriate.
• Evaluate training effectiveness via assessments, surveys, metrics; drive improvements.
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
• Lead a team of hourly Training Technicians; provide coaching and development.
• Manage site training budget and align programs with safety, quality, compliance.
• Stay current on training trends and regulatory updates.
• Support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
