Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Training Specialist to design, deliver, and administer employee education across the plant. You will ensure policy compliance and support teamwork and development.

You will lead training initiatives across departments, develop materials, and collaborate with managers to address training needs. Expect potential travel and a focus on safety, quality, and Lean concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Education, Training & Development, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a training coordination or administrative role in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional interaction at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS or other training software.

Responsibilities

• Manages the full scope of training programs across the plant from concept to implementation.
• Assesses training needs and develops new programs or improves existing ones (orientation, safety, SOPs, Lean manufacturing, etc.).
• Develops and oversees training materials (manuals, presentations, exercises).
• Partners with department managers and supervisors on training requirements.
• Develops and delegates on-the-job training checklists and progression criteria.
• Creates SOPs for new and existing equipment; tracks SOCs and training outcomes.
• Establishes Train-the-Trainer programs to identify and motivate educators.
• Analyzes training results to drive engagement and improvements.
• Maintains systems to track education/training records and needs.
