Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations to lead shift teams in processing and packaging, drive continuous improvement, and deliver quality products while optimizing productivity and costs.

You will develop and coach production associates, monitor performance, and partner with QA, HR, and maintenance to resolve issues and meet business goals. A strong background in manufacturing leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading hourly production teams and managing daily shift operations.
• Strong understanding of production processes, workforce planning, productivity metrics, and cost controls.
• Experience coaching employees, resolving issues, and driving accountability.
• Ability to analyze operations data and address production challenges.
• Strong communication across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with standard business software (MS Office).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production associates to ensure efficient use of people, equipment, and resources.
• Monitor productivity, efficiencies, labor utilization, waste reduction, overtime, and yields.
• Ensure production schedules and sales orders are executed efficiently.
• Maintain product quality by monitoring processes and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure speeds meet specifications.
• Oversee sanitation programs and plant cleanliness standards.
• Promote safety programs and maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct daily Leader Standard Work and coordinate shift performance.
• Prepare production reports and documentation; ensure timely completion.
• Facilitate shift handoffs and effective cross-shift communication.
• Collaborate with QA, HR, Maintenance, and other support functions to resolve issues.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Address employee concerns and apply progressive discipline per policy.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Identify and implement processes to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
