SPB Hospitality is seeking a Manager of Training to lead comprehensive training programs for new restaurant openings and ongoing operations. This field-based role requires extensive travel to ensure operational excellence across brands.

The ideal candidate will coach front-of-house teams, develop trainers, and maintain current materials using tools like Canva, RISE, TalentLink, Word, Teams and Excel. Flexible, high-energy leadership is essential.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing training programs.
• Strong background in restaurant operations.
• Experience operating in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including extended periods away from home base.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to adapt priorities and schedules to evolving needs.
• Experience in content development and instructional design.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends for openings and trainings.

Responsabilidades

• New Restaurant Opening Planning & Execution: Select, develop, and prepare opening trainers.
• Coordinate pre-opening activities: checklists, travel, hiring site setup, materials, on-site training.
• Service & Training Visits: travel to locations for service and training visits.
• Support service & training operations for all brands (J. Alexander's, Stoney River, Amada, Village Whiskey).
• Maintain knowledge of front-of-house systems: closing procedures, inventory controls, online ordering, private dining.
• Communicate with EVP and regional directors with operational notes during visits.
• Team Leadership & Development: build relationships with service managers; develop training tools.
• Educate and coach service teams on attire, standards, liquor/wine knowledge, and line ups.
• Training Content Development & Design: maintain up-to-date training materials using Canva, RISE, TalentLink, Word, Teams, Excel.
• Work with Support Center on operational agendas and training rollouts.
