Job summary

Kura Sushi USA is seeking Traveling Trainers/Opening Team Members to lead, instruct, coach, and manage all new store members during openings and expansions.

This role requires extensive travel to new and existing stores, staying weeks to months to ensure training and smooth operations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in leadership or supervisory roles and prior training experience in restaurant or hospitality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership/ supervisory experience preferred, minimum 2 years.
• Previous training experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong customer service/ guest relations skills.
• Ability to engage positively with Guests, team members and trainees.
• Ability to train and explain concepts and tasks to team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead, instruct, coach, and manage all new store members and trainees during openings.
• Travel to new stores, staying weeks to months to assist with training and operations.
• Provide hands-on guidance and mentoring to staff across FOH and BOH.
• Develop and deliver effective training programs and materials.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, food safety, and quality standards.
