Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal construction management system implementation. The role includes virtual and in-person sessions for staff, project managers, engineers, and contractors, ensuring users gain the knowledge to operate the new system across locations.

The ideal candidate has strong presentation and facilitation skills, experience with software training, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Travel frequency contingent on duties and project demands.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and in-person settings.
• Follow lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
• Answer participant questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain classroom engagement and effective management throughout sessions.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with Training Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Suggest improvements to training delivery methods and materials.
• Represent the training team professionally with Government personnel and stakeholders.
• Communicate with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
