Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s new construction management system. You will conduct sessions in virtual and in-person settings and ensure participants gain essential knowledge to support project delivery.

This role requires strong facilitation, software training experience, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change across multiple locations. Travel is extensive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience; travel may be required.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience delivering software or enterprise system training.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and virtual training platforms.
• Experience training Federal Government programs.
• Familiar with PMIS or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training per approved lesson plans and materials.
• Respond to questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom engagement and management.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with training and program managers on schedules.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend continuous improvements to delivery methods and materials.
• Represent the training team with Government personnel and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively across organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
