Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s new construction management system. You will conduct both virtual and in-person sessions, ensuring participants gain the knowledge and skills to use the new platform across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years related experience may be substituted by equivalent directly related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and within a geographically dispersed training team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and classroom settings.
• Follow approved lesson plans, materials, and guidelines.
• Answer participant questions and provide guidance during sessions.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to training delivery and materials.
• Represent the training team with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with staff at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
