Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s customized construction management system, in virtual and in-person formats.

You will train personnel, project managers, engineering staff and external contractors, ensuring they gain the knowledge to use the new system, and you will support large-scale change initiatives across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to travel extensively as required.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong facilitation and classroom management capabilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to varying audience needs.
• Ability to work independently and within a geographically dispersed training team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training in accordance with approved lesson plans, course materials, and guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for improving training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
