Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s customized construction management system, supporting virtual and in-person sessions across multiple sites.

You will work with project managers, engineering staff, and external contractors to ensure users gain the knowledge to utilize the new system, participate in Train-the-Trainer, and help drive adoption during CMP deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant training experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training in accordance with approved lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement throughout training sessions.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers regarding course schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption efforts during CMP deployment activities.
