Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for multiple business units. You will design curricula, create materials, and lead both classroom and virtual sessions to improve performance and knowledge transfer.

You will collaborate with instructional designers, assess learning needs, and leverage the Navy Federal Learning Center to track participation, assessments, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and testing learning activities and materials.
• Ability to plan and design curricula with clear objectives.
• Experience facilitating in-person or virtual sessions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to plan and design courses and curricula.
• Conduct needs assessments to tailor training solutions.
• Create reference and support tools for learners.
• Develop and enhance training content to meet requirements.
• Facilitate classroom interactions and virtual sessions.
• Identify new training approaches and modalities.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs including ILT and VILT.
• Utilize NFLC to manage participants, attendance and assessments.
• Liaise between product owners and operations for alignment.
• Prepare training materials from conception to production.
• Plan and deliver technical, soft skills, and member service training.
• Respond to training issues and inquiries.
• Measure and report on training effectiveness.
