Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States is hiring a Training & Development Specialist Health Center Associate – IA. Based in Des Moines, you’ll develop and deliver trainings for health center staff and oversee onboarding for front desk and non-certified back-office roles.

Some remote work for administrative duties is possible. You’ll lead training projects, collaborate with site leaders, and ensure consistency with our mission to advance sexual and reproductive healthcare.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience effectively training and supporting new employees.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate for healthcare providers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Trains newly hired health center staff in Family Planning and Abortion Care.
• Designs training materials and onboarding resources for staff.
• Coordinates and evaluates training programs aligned with organizational goals.
• Travels to PPNCS locations to provide on-the-job training and evaluation.
• Maintains training records and competency forms.
