Job summary
Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Training & Development Specialist Health Center Associate for IA. The role focuses on onboarding health center staff, delivering effective trainings, and maintaining competency across front desk and back-office teams.
The position supports mission-driven care and patient experience across multiple sites in Iowa. The role requires 1 year of customer service, BLS certification, and proven ability to train others, with occasional travel to other
Qualifications
- 1 year customer service experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate for healthcare providers.
- Experience effectively training and supporting new employees.
- Working knowledge of technology including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Prepares for and trains newly hired health center associates in Family Planning and Abortion Care.
- Works with organizational staff to understand needs and develops interventions and materials.
- Designs and develops training materials for staff training, mentoring, and coaching.
- Develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates training programs aligned with the organization’s plan.
