Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Training Specialist responsible for delivering classroom, web-based and one-on-one training to technical staff. The role includes content development, curriculum validation, and supporting system go-lives and upgrades.

Responsibilities extend to instructional design, needs assessment, learning modality selection, and continuous program improvement. Strong collaboration with internal teams and external consultants is expected to ensure successful learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, education, behavioral science, or a related field or 3+ years in training delivery or curriculum development.
• KSAs include written communication, content development, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver trainings using various modalities (classroom, web-based, i.e., ILT, virtual, and on-site sessions).
• Develop training content and validate curriculum accuracy with stakeholders.
• Support and monitor end-user training during go-lives and upgrades.
• Collaborate with consultants and client leaders to execute systems, initiatives, and programs.
• Assist with evaluating training effectiveness and applying improvements.
