HomeFirst, a nonprofit serving the Bay Area, is seeking a Training Coordinator in Santa Clara, CA to advance the agency’s mission by delivering engaging trainings for staff and supporting the training department under the Talent Development Director.

The role focuses on developing training modules, coordinating logistics, tracking certifications, and ensuring contract compliance, with some remote work as determined by leadership.

Qualifications

• One year employment experience in social services, training, or teaching.
• Familiarity with homelessness or related social issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in social services or teaching field (preferred).
• Bilingual abilities and public speaking experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate trainings with strong communication, adapting content to staff.
• Assist with training implementation including setup, transportation, and cleanup.
• Develop and maintain training modules to stay relevant and compliant with policies and contracts.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and participate in train-the-trainers.
• Use Learning Management Systems to track certifications, assign training, and generate reports.
• Be a subject-matter expert in training topics to support staff inquiries.
