Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a training-focused professional to lead safety and forklift training, and to continuously improve orientation programs for new Team Members at our facility in the United States.

The role involves coordinating interpreters when needed and ensuring documentation is completed promptly for each new hire. The ideal candidate has prior training or production experience, strong presentation skills, and solid computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Experience in training or production preferred.
• Standard computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong presentation skills.
• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and forklift training.
• Continually improve classroom orientation programs.
• Ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted to their file.
• Annual training for plant employees and on the job training for Employees.
• Assess the need for interpreters in various departments for communications clarity and coordinate the assistance of the interpreter.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Knowledge and understanding of the work performed in the area of responsibility preferred. Previous training or Production experience preferred
• Computer Skills: Standard computer skills - Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal written and presentation skills
• Special Skills: Must be comfortable in presenting material to large groups; strong organizational skills
• Education: High school graduate or equivalent required
