Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a training specialist for the 2nd shift in Nebraska. You will lead safety and forklift trainings, keep new-hire documentation current, and deliver ongoing plant training.

The role includes coordinating interpreters to ensure clear communication and assisting new team members with acclimation and qualification processes. Strong presentation skills, organizational abilities, and comfort speaking to groups are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience or training in production environments preferred.
• Experience presenting to groups and strong organizational skills are expected.
• Computer skills with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and forklift training and improve orientation programs.
• Ensure new Team Member documentation is completed timely and filed.
• Deliver annual training for plant employees and on-the-job training for employees.
• Assess interpreter needs across departments and coordinate assistance.
• Assist in acclimating new Team Members around the facility and with qualification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

**SUMMARY**:Responsibilities include: conduct safety and forklift training and continually improve classroom orientation programs; ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted to their file; annual training for plant employees and on the job training for Employees. Other duties include: assess the need for interpreters in various departments for communications clarity and coordinate the assistance of the interpreter; assist in acclimating new Team Members in and around the confines of the facility and with the qualification process; other duties as assigned. **REQUIREMENTS**:**Experience**: Knowledge and understanding of the work performed in the area of responsibility preferred. Previous training or Production experience preferred;**Computer Skills:** Standard computer skills - Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint.**Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal written and presentation skills.**Special Skills**: Must be comfortable in presenting material to large groups; strong organizational skills.**Education**: High school graduate or equivalent required.All professional team members are expected to demonstrate responsible use of approved AI tools, including safeguarding sensitive information, adhering to company policies, and validating AI-generated outputs.
