Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in North Kansas is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn SGWS products, the industry, and consultative sales practices. You will support senior staff and the Area Sales Manager while building strong customer relationships and planning account visits to uncover growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate will analyze data to increase sales, prepare growth plans for each account, and maintain CRM records.

Qualifications

• Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws
• Able to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties and responsibilities
• Able to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals
• Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad, smartphone) and online communication techniques
• Able to travel as needed
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Train on SGWS products, industry, consultative sales and customers
• Support more senior sales employees and Area Sales Manager
• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
• Preplan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities
• Analyze data and insights to increase sales and grow customer business
• Develop a customer business growth plan for each account
• Visit accounts regularly and build visit plans based on outcomes
• Maintain knowledge of SGWS products and present them accurately
• Propose selling solutions to customers using consultative selling
• Document information in the Proof CRM application
• Participate in sales meetings and on-site trainings
