Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Trainee-DOT to learn all aspects of a Route Delivery Driver role, including safe operation of delivery vehicles and servicing accounts along a designated route per PBV standards.

The role emphasizes DOT compliance, customer service, and efficient merchandising of products, with opportunities to advance within the PBV network across multiple states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A required; able to pass a DOT physical.
• 0–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must obtain a CDL permit within 45 business days if not held.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Must meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Able to work hours necessary to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre/post-trip inspection on truck per DOT; report problems.
• Safely drive a truck with fixed weight limits.
• Safely unloads product and handles check-in procedures.
• Stock shelves, racks, and displays with proper rotation.
• Breaks down boxes and manages damaged/empty cases for credits.
• Obtain signatures, store stamps, and invoices for end-of-day settlements.
• Communicate issues to store personnel and management.
• Follow DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
